Ranfer Group -

A genesis of Ceylon’s finest teas sourced organically from own farms and offering medicinal values

SL@100 proudly announces the onboarding of Ranfer Group, a globally eminent tea exporter in Sri Lanka, to its list of portfolio companies. Ranfer is one of the 6 chosen candidates in the second round of selection, out of the 37 applicants that had applied to join our platform. The significant achievements Ranfer has made as a globally acclaimed brand since the year 1985 gives SL@100 confidence to partner with the Group and assist them in embracing new business opportunities and targets. Terapy Ceylon is a luxurious Ayurvedic therapeutic tea brand which uses tropical ingredients and the purest tea leaves plucked from the luscious plantations of Ranfer, inculcating a sense of wellness in the minds of the customers. SL@100 endeavors to work together with Ranfer to help them create a competitive edge in the industry and accentuate the Terapy brand in global markets.

An aroma of wellness brewed in a steaming cup – Implied by its name, Te͂rapy Ceylon concentrates on boosting the immunity and wellness of the body and mind using decades-old ayurvedic portions and remedies that descend from ancestral homes in Ceylon. The freshly plucked tropical ingredients are contained in uniquely designed eco-friendly packaging that depicts wellness and ancient goodness. The authenticity of the artisan Ayurveda teas blended by the team is intensified by the wide range of flavorful wellness they produce for the locals and the foreign market. Cozy Chamomile, Peppermint boost, Prana Ease, Purifying Peach, and Revitalizing Cucumber are among the extensive variety they offer.

A pure organic harvest defining exclusivity- Te͂rapy Ceylon is sourced from 100% organic crop from own farms, where farmers season the soil to secure the pesticide-free indigenous ingredients they plant. Te͂rapy Ceylon is extremely conscious of ensuring sustainability to preserve the soil and the environment for the communities. The ancient practice of safeguarding the crops from insects and pests through a blend of kohomba leaves and Ayurvedic Basil leaves is the underlying secret of their abundantly grown healthy plantation.

Prominence for legal compliance & quality- The co-founders of Ranfer Group, Mr. Nirmal Ranasinghe and Mr. Travice Fernando ambitiously built Ranfer from scratch with the intent of inculcating a sense of nobility to the tea industry. They believed that their business should strive forward conforming to the legal guidelines and instigating the notion that quality should be the focal point in what they produce. Following the footsteps of the founders, Ms. Ruvinika Kinigama, the Director of Te͂rapy Ceylon, and her team gives immense significance to meeting the quality standards and abiding by the legal aspects. Te͂rapy Ceylon has earned its reputation over the years for winning consumer trust by offering uncharacteristically hygienic Ceylon tea.

Extending to new heights through a fusion in medicinal tea- Commended for the local goodness Ranfer has brought into the global market for decades, the legacy of “fineness” will be continued by Terapy Ceylon, setting a milestone in Ayurvedic and herbal tea. We at SL@100 aim to support and encourage Te͂rapy Ceylon through our partnership, and assist them in setting a solid foundation to extend to new ventures in the tea export industry.

“Although the Térapy Ceylon project was initiated over 5 years ago, it was launched in the post Covid Pandemic period providing a range of opportunities for an export-oriented island such as Sri Lanka to capitalize on the change in consumer lifestyle trends. Marrying the island’s ancient holistic wellness of Ayurveda with Sri Lanka’s prized export commodity, Térapy Ceylon aims at

opening a whole new category to the tea export industry. Partnering with SriLanka@100 provides us with a promising foundation to ensure we not only achieve export revenue targets for the country but guide us in developing a recognizable global brand our island can be proud of.”- Director, Ruvinika Kinigama.
